BEDAZZELING HOT TIP ALERT!

Easter Holidays are here, and I know all you dance mums out there are ready to get your bedazzle on! But don't worry, Dance Mums NZ has got you covered with some bedazzling tips that will take your costumes from drab to fab!

MESH FABRICS

Firstly, if you're rhinestoning mesh fabrics and don't want glue to go everywhere, don't fret. All you need is a sheet of trusty parchment paper (AKA baking paper) to place under your work area. This will save you from a sticky, hot mess!

UNSURE ABOUT YOUR CREATIVE DESIGN?

Now, if you're new to the rhinestoning game and not sure how to get started, fear not! Simply grab some clear sticky tape and place your rhinestones on it. Then, stick the tape onto your costume and voila! You can now visualise your creative design before you commit to gluing the rhinestones in place.

RHINESTONES POPPING OFF?

Are you tired of your precious rhinestones popping off your costume after you've put in all that hard work gluing them on?

To avoid this pesky problem, all you need is a board cut out into a body shape and some trusty clothes pegs. Stretch the fabric with the rhinestones on it over the board and secure it tightly with the pegs. This will help the glue set properly and ensure that your bedazzling masterpiece stays intact!

Now, be patient, bedazzlers! You'll need to wait at least 24 hours for the glue to fully set before removing the board and unleashing your newly bedazzled creation on the world. Trust us, it'll be worth the wait!

So, there you have it, dance mums! With these tips, your bedazzling game is sure to be on point. Happy bedazzling and have a hoppy Easter!
